As a business owner, often you’re out there going the extra mile, shouldering the extra load, picking up the slack to the point where your whole day is taken up with tedious tasks that usually someone else could do.
Sure, you need to mentor and motivate your staff and always market, market, market and make those sales! Yes, you may need to work in the business but activities like these only maintain the status quo. Where as a successful business needs to grow!
Schedule at least an hour of strictly uninterrupted time each day to work on your business.
What will you need to implement to take your company to that next level? To do double your sales next year? What does that look like on paper? Who will you need to hire? What will it take to turn this vision into a reality?
Tired of working solely in the business? Start delegating. Pay someone else to pick up the slack. Your mission is to pick up the profits. Go the extra mile to focus on business growth.
