Team Bios

Olena Prodan arrived in Canada in 2022 accompanied by her mom and six-year-old son. She now has permanent residency status. Olena earned her Bachelor of Accounting in 2014 and her Masters in Accounting and Audit in 2016 from Vinnytsya National Agrarian University, Ukraine.

While Olena was improving her English-speaking skills, she worked as a social media and sales manager for an Edmonton retail store. She started at PCS in August 2024.

Olena draws inspiration from her daily successes at work. “Whenever I see the results from my efforts to learn what I don’t know, I feel very proud.” She eagerly faces whatever new challenges come her way.

Persistence is one of her keys to excellence. “I don’t give up. When I make a mistake, I do my research so I can fix it.” She feels that her experience and skills with social media will be helpful in enhancing the visibility of PCS and attracting more clients.

Olena finds the PCS environment very nurturing. “Not only is everyone happy to help us learn, but there are also opportunities to specialize in the various accounting tracks, such as payroll and auditing.

At home, Olena has discovered a hidden talent for painting. “I will soon run out of walls for my artwork!” She considers her son a “true Canadian” because of his love of winter.
