Lorelie Utadora

Professional Bookkeeper

Upon completion of her Bachelor of Science degree in Management Accounting at the University of San Carlos in the Philippines, Lorelie Utadora started work in the banking industry. In just eight years, she progressed from a junior teller to a branch manager.

Lorelie, her husband, and two young children arrived in Canada in December 2022. Enrolled in NAIT’s Diploma in Business Administration – Accounting program, she started parttime with PCS in November 2024 and earned her diploma in December 2024.

The experience of applying accounting theory to real files is exciting for Lorelie. “I like to be able to analyze the effects that various transactions have on the companies and their books.” Not only is she adept with numbers, Lorelie enjoys dealing with people. The guidance she used to provide to banking customers can now be applied to clients in explaining the  specifics of their files.

At PCS, Lorelie is enjoying the hands-on training. “There are some brilliant minds here, and the team is warm and very helpful.”

When not working, Lorelie relaxes with friends. When time permits, she and her family have been busy exploring Alberta. They’ve been to Banff a couple times and are eager to see more of the province.
