Team Bios

Kateryna (Kate) Chuiko’s love of numbers came from both her grandmother – a mathematics teacher, and her bookkeeper mother. She earned her Master of Accounting and Audit degree in 2010 and was about to defend her PhD thesis in 2014 when war broke out in Ukraine.

Kate, her husband and daughter came to Canada in November of 2022. She brought with her 10 years of experience in bookkeeping and accounting. To improve her English here, she worked in retail as a customer service representative before joining PCS.

Forward thinking in her approach, Kate welcomes new challenges. “I’m working with a group of very smart people who provide great support. I appreciate the opportunities to learn and grow professionally every day.”

Time with family is very important to Kate, as is the opportunity to travel more. Reading is her way to relax and expand her mind. She recently welcomed a kitten to their family.
