Team Bios

Once Fran Tofa-Chizanga earned her Bachelor of Accounting from Africa University in Zimbabwe, she continued her studies and was awarded her Master of Business Administration degree. She is now a Canadian citizen.

Before completing her AUPSA training and joining PCS in late 2024, she worked for the Alberta Boilers Safety Association in an accounting role.

Fran’s interest in numbers started in her grandfather’s store where she learned to count her pennies in exchange for candy. “Every penny counted, so I became very disciplined about money.”

She thrives in a team environment, so she feels very comfortable at PCS. “It’s a very healthy place to work.” Fran is looking forward to applying her critical thinking skills and her attention to detail to resolve problems with files. Her ability to negotiate with clients supports her in the successful completion of her work. “I’m looking forward to doing my part to attract new clients to our firm.”

A busy mom with three growing children, Fran and her husband enjoy spending time traveling with them. Since coming to Canada, they have visited every province except British Columbia. Fran relaxes by reading. With a positive attitude about learning, she prefers motivational and personal development books.
