Team Bios

Brooke Hayes confesses that she has a fascination with forensic accounting. “There’s always a right answer with numbers,” says Brooke. She graduated from Red Deer College with an Office Administration certificate in 2002.

Before joining PCS, Brooke was the Operations Manager for the Edmonton Soccer Association for 12 years. “It was a very diverse role – from staff management and customer service to accounting and auditing. I worked with all kinds of people.”

Calling herself a Type A personality, she is straightforward and direct when dealing with situations. Yet, Brooke also has the ability to modify her personal style to meet the needs of others. Empathy is the key.

When it comes to puzzles, Brooke likes to dive right in – sudoku, jigsaw puzzles, and certainly accounting puzzles. Which is why she’s so excited to be working at PCS. “There’s such a sense of accomplishment when you get results – especially with the variety of clients here.”

Not only does she tackle the job at hand with speed, efficiency, and accuracy, there is a creative side to Brooke which shows up when she’s at home. She loves to sing, and she’s learning how to dance – tap, jazz, and hip-hop. When she’s not spending time with her kids, she enjoys reading and quilting.
